Description:
This session will support teachers to develop practices that promote inclusivity. All teachers need to develop and implement policies in their classroom that promote the inclusion of all students in the learning program. This session will help you to understand the meaning of inclusion, the responsibilities you have as a teacher to promote inclusive practices, and determine appropriate goals that can be achieved in your classroom. This is an important foundation course before embarking on courses about learning disability, those who have experienced trauma, and catering for students from many different cultural and religious backgrounds.
