    Amanda is a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Northwest Arkansas. Amanda is currently the School-Based Mental Health Coordinator and Lead District Social Worker at Pea Ridge Schools, as well as a clinical practice at WatersEdge Counseling. Amanda has spent the last few years in clinical work with various populations. As a social worker, she has years of experience as a case manager, a therapist, and a program administrator working with children and families who have experienced many challenges that adversely impact their ability to make positive changes in their lives. Her goal as a social worker is to help people recognize and remove barriers to accessing the tools they need to be happier and healthier. Amanda enjoys working with children and families, adolescents, and adults. Particular areas of interest include parent relationships and the LGBTQIA+ community. Amanda is originally from eastern Oklahoma, where she and her husband met as second graders. They have been married for 29 years and have 3 great kids- ages 32, 24, and 14. Amanda is Sooner Born and Sooner Bred and a proud alumnus of the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a master's degree in Social Work.
