Alzheimer's Dementia: Providing the Latest in Memory Screening and Assessment

This session provides an interactive discussion regarding the most up-to-date screening and assessment methods for memory concerns in older adult patients. Content will include discussing age-friendly care for older adults, recognizing normal vs abnormal memory concerns, when to screen for memory decline and with what tools, and what labs, imaging, and physical exam findings to focus on. Learning in context is important, so a case scenario will be presented and referred to throughout the lecture. We will close out the session with an example workflow to use in the office to streamline the process of screening and assessing memory concerns.
