Musculoskeletal Tumors

This session is a general overview of the types of tumors/cancers that may arise within the musculoskeletal system. By the end of the presentation, participants will better understand how to diagnose bony and soft-tissue neoplasms based on clinical exam, patient history, and radiographic evaluation. Specifically, attendees will acquire insights into distinguishing between malignant and benign tumors, as well as categorizing them based on their capacity for bone production, cartilage production, or lack thereof. Furthermore, participants will be enlightened on various treatment modalities tailored to the specific malignancy grade of the tumor, with specific illustrative examples dispersed throughout the session.
