Target Audience
 This continuing education (CE) activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners and other healthcare providers who care for women.

Approval CE Approval Period: Now through February 21, 2025
All post-tests must be completed during the approval period with a passing score of 70% or higher to earn CE. No refunds will be issued if the activity is not completed within the approval period.

Objectives
At the end of the session participants will be able to recognize and utilize strategies learned to improve access to care in their practice environment.

1. Discuss strategies to improve access to prenatal care for marginalized communities, including the role of community health workers and doulas in supporting maternal health outcomes.
2. Identify barriers to quality maternal care, such as transportation, language, and cultural differences
3. Review successful programs shown to improve maternal health outcomes for underserved populations

Accreditation Statement This activity has been evaluated and approved by the Continuing Education Approval Program of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH) and has been approved for 1.0 contact hour CE credit, including 0 hours of pharmacology credit.
