Description:
Education Support staff can often be the first point of contact for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and their families. In this session the presenter will explore helpful ways to create a sense of belonging and safety. The presenter will also outline the DE policies and resources in place to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families, including additional organisations and resources available to schools to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families.
