CRT2355 Understanding school data and its impact on your teaching

Presenter: Dr Selena Fisk

Course Length: 1 hour(s)

Description:
Schools are increasingly focused on gathering, analysing and responding to data about student learning and student outcomes. At times this is to meet regulatory requirements (e.g. NCCD); at times it is in response to standardised tests; at its best it contributes to feedback to students about their learning and how teachers can modify their own practice to support students. It is important for CRTs to have a comprehensive understanding of how and why schools are gathering data and how those processes might impact on your work in schools.

Standards addressed:

  • 5.4.2 Interpret data from learners
