This course will cover the basic types of gears, operational challenges, and the functions of gear lubricants. The presentation will then cover gear lubricant performance, types of gear lubricants, base oils and additives, gear lubricant specifications and gear lubrication challenges. The session will conclude with gear lubricant selection.
