Axel Mossberg

Dr. Axel Mossberg holds a PhD in evacuation behaviour with a focus on behaviour associated with evacuation lifts. He was also the president of the standardisation group that developed the Swedish standard on evacuation lifts and is also currently leading the work on standardising the Swedish regulation on performance-based design. He is a designing engineer at Sweden’s largest fire safety consultancy where he also acts as the research director, splitting his time 50/50 between research and design projects.
