P09 Migrating Digital Assets: A Visual Look at Workflows and Platforms

Migrating digital assets between platforms is a time consuming and delicate endeavor. The University of Wyoming's digital and institutional repositories have undergone a combined total of four migrations in seven years. Additionally, the collections have called four different platforms home. We share our experiences and workflows in the hopes of saving others from some of the potential migration pitfalls, including platform assessment and maintaining metadata integrity.
