Description
This poster examines how neurodivergent (ND) researchers (examples of neurodivergence include Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Synesthesia, among others) can find minor gaps or inconsistencies in our policies and procedures to be insurmountable obstacles. It describes best practices for creating policy documents and finding aids as well as working with ND patrons in a way that facilitates their independence. Attendees will come away with concrete actions and solutions for enabling people.
