Description
Disorganized reference can negatively impact the ability of any archives to serve its researchers. The archivist of Sloan Museum of Discovery has redesigned reference in its archives for the past year to combine disorganized elements. The effort created a library, established ready reference resources, developed use statistics, restructured fees, and marketed collections. The results show higher use of collections by more varied researchers and the emergence of community partnerships.
