Dialysis Center Regulatory Risk Update

In recent years, dialysis centers and associated providers have found themselves increasingly under the regulatory microscope. Whistleblower lawsuits, Medicare program integrity investigations and private payor audits have increased in 2024 and are expected to further expand in 2025. During this session, we will discuss the current health care fraud and abuse landscape facing dialysis centers and providers and go oversteps that your organization can take to reduce its level of regulatory, billing and coding risk.

  1. Participants will be able to discuss the various types of governmental and private payor audit entities that are assessing dialysis centers and providers around the country.
  2. Participants will be able to demonstrate steps that their dialysis centers can take to assess their level of audit risk.
