7/9 Virtual Roundtable: Immersive Technologies Research

Immersive technologies, including virtual reality, wearable sensors, and spatial computing, are potent research tools. Nuances in the containment of participant data, safety regarding psychological effects of these technologies, and other aspects of immersive technologies require updated standards in the review process. Through this Virtual Roundtable, led by Julia A. Scott, PhD, Director of the Brain and Memory Care Lab at Santa Clara University, members will learn about and discuss types immersive technologies, their use in research, and the additional ethical considerations they evoke.
