NYU Langone Health Staff/ Faculty Fee (LECTURE ONLY): Rusk Rehabilitation Presents Shoulder Rehabilitation Symposium: Complex Made Simple from Pediatrics to Adults

Description

This Portion of the Course is a Virtual Event ONLY

Course Description
Studies suggest up to 70% of people experience shoulder pain at some point in their lives. Injuries can be caused by athletic activities and during everyday tasks. Due to the complexity of the shoulder, the clinician must master the ability to accurately assess and select the appropriate evidence-based interventions to restore function.

This one-day course is designed for Physical and Occupational Therapists at the intermediate level. The goal of this course is to gain an understanding of the assessment and treatment of common shoulder pathologies, including how to differentiate them from cervical issues. The learner will be able to categorize these pathologies and understand how to implement the best methods for evaluation and treatment using the highest level of evidence available. Attendees will not only learn the latest scientific research but also participate in interactive workshops to put theory into practice.

Participants will have the option to enroll in a full day live course, including both lecture and lab portions, or a half day virtual lecture portion only. A post-test and course evaluation are required after the completion of the course.
