Integrative Medicine Webinar: Degenerative Myelopathy

A novel approach to treating Degenerative Myelopathy with a new herbal formula, acupuncture and physical therapy. In 2022, a study of six DM dogs currently enrolled in Physical Therapy put on a new herbal formula designed by Dr Steve Marsden based on two classical formulas. Patients stayed on this herb throughout the study and owners were very forthcoming about the response to treatment. We will delve into the root cause of Degenerative Myelopathy and the best approaches to help stave off symptoms as long as possible using an integrative medical approach. Discussion will include most successful acupuncture patterns for DM as well as physical therapy exercise programs.
