The Many Changes to Flood Load Design in ASCE 7-22, Supplement 2 Series

This short series will cover the many changes in flood load design that are included in ASCE 7-22 Supplement 2. There have been minimal changes in flood load design since ASCE 7-98. The nation's flood losses have skyrocketed while we use design practices that were developed in the 1979's with the advent of the National Flood Insurance Program. This series will demonstrate some new approaches to design that incorporate lessons learned and much research. Two examples will be used to illustrate some of the key concepts.

The registration fee for the Seminar is $395 for members ($500 for nonmembers), which includes all 4 hours of education. Each individual webinar can be purchased separately for $250 for members ($300 for nonmembers).

  • Purchase both webinars in the Seminar and have access to the recordings for 1 Year.
  • Each seminar purchase is per office location. If your firm is operating remotely, contact NCSEA at ncsea@ncsea.com on how to accommodate multiple users from the same location.
Please note: These webinars are not included in the NCSEA Webinar Subscription.

July 25th - Day 2:
ASCE 7-22 Changes to Flood Loads and Load Factors including New Requirements for Changing Conditions, Presented by Bill Coulbourne, P.E.
