COURSE DESCRIPTION
Understanding how the brain functions can help us enhance non-judgmental interactions with our clients and ourselves. This course will help you understand the prefrontal cortex (including executive functions),amygdala and other parts of the brain that impact AD/HD, chronic disorganization, hoarding, and trauma. The understanding of the brain will help you use the strategies discussed in this course and help you develop others to help your clients.

  1. Understand Chronic Disorganization, AD/HD, trauma, and hoarding
  2. Understand the functioning of the parts of the brain most involved in these situations
  3. Learn 3 things that compromise our executive functions

  5. Learn techniques to help clients get the most out of their brains to meet their goals
