This training is sponsored generously by the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWHN). Therefore, only those individuals employed by a Detroit Wayne Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health program are allowed to register.
Training Series Description: The world, and our work as IMH practitioners, is shifting. Yet, the foundation remains the same:relationships and authentic connection are the agents of change. How have your relationships been built and nurtured, when the beginnings may have not looked like you expected or hoped? Come participate in a collaborative and interactive space for IMH clinicians and supervisors to discuss, explore, and share about your experience of providing infant mental health services amidst an ongoing pandemic. We will spend time discussing together ways we’ve adapted to providing emotional support, developmental guidance, and addressing the significant grief, loss, and trauma brought on by a pandemic. We will stay connected to our roots in discussions on attachment and how we’re approaching the core IMH strategies. Participants will be invited to share successes, challenges, and concrete strategies to engage families and sustain relationships.
