Description
A division of the U.S. Department of Labor, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is responsible for publishing and enforcing standards and guidelines that ensure safe conditions for the nation’s workforce. The nature of medical practices means employees can be exposed to additional health and safety risks, so it’s especially important that practices are aware of and follow all OSHA standards. Failing to comply could cost practices money, as well as affect human health and safety. This course covers the OSHA standards most applicable to medical practices and how to remain compliant.
