Description

  • Identify the risks of bloodborne pathogens, including the most common viruses and bacteria and their modes of transmission
  • Describe strategies to prevent and control the spread of bloodborne pathogens in diverse environments
  • Discuss the importance of post-exposure prophylaxis, emergency first aid, and the reporting requirements for occupational exposures
