Description
Essentials of Organizational Governance is part of the Essentials of Group Practice Management course.

New and existing medical personnel need to have a basic understanding of the impact of legal and organizational governance on the success of the medical practice. In this course, learners will identify the importance of governance and implement practice standards for growth and leadership.

Learn the essentials, including how to:

  • Advance the establishment and monitoring of appropriate corporate legal structure for the organization
  • Leverage organizational governance structure and maintain proper corporate record-keeping of strategic decisions
  • Manage the integration of the corporate mission statement into all aspects of the organization's culture
  • Outline the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan
This course represents one of the six performance domains as defined in the Body of Knowledge for Medical Practice Management, 4th Edition.
