The topic of this workshop is on developing and maintaining community within the classroom, around in-person, online, or blended learning activities. Andrew J. Lau and Herbert Serrano will discuss definitions of “community” and how they might be operationalized in your class. Implications for course design, classroom management pedagogy and andragogy will also be explored. In this interactive workshop, they will emphasize tools, methods, and tips for encouraging peer engagement with course content and concepts.
