We all want our students to be active and engaged. We all want to be dynamic and inspiring instructors. So why do we end up giving long lectures to students staring at their cell phones? This workshop will give you a brand-new perspective on why teaching can be so difficult. We’ll examine some of your real-world problems — and find ways to solve them. Special attention will be given to teaching dense material in interesting ways and making teaching more compelling and effective.
