Course Description
This course examines the steps involved in relocating a business and explains how the Uniform Act regulations relate to the process of assisting a business with its move. The topics include nonresidential move options, the importance of the initial interview, how to perform an inventory and obtain move bids or estimates, and when to require move specifications and monitoring.

Students practice concepts through interactive exercises and case study scenarios, as well as progress quizzes at the end of each lesson to gauge knowledge transfer.

  • Determine resources necessary to accomplish the move
  • Select appropriate payments for a displaced business in various situations
  • Describe the steps in performing an inventory for a nonresidential move
  • Describe the process for obtaining move bids or estimates
  • Determine when an agency should require move specifications
  • Describe how an agency should monitor a move

Credentialing
  • New SR/WA: An intermediate elective course that can be applied towards the SR/WA designation.
  • Specialist: This course is also applicable as an elective toward the R/W-RAC program.

If a passing grade is not achieved by the second attempt, the participant must re-purchase the class if he or she wishes to take the exam a third time.
