Inn Officer Overview: Inn Administrator

The Inn Administrator plays a vital role in supporting and maintaining an American Inn of Court. Although Inns may structure officer and administrator responsibilities differently, the following job tasks are based on the experiences of administrators from various Inns across the organization.  Your duties may include some or all of the following:
  • Maintaining accurate member records.
  • Collecting meeting RSVPs and tracking meeting attendance.
  • Maintaining the Inn’s website.
  • Making arrangements for In-person or Virtual Inn meetings.
  • Providing staffing for Inn committees.
  • Maintaining the connection between the Inn and the national office.
While some tasks listed may overlap with those of an Inn officer, this presentation provides an overview of responsibilities generally assigned to Inn administrators.  The Resources Tab contains documents and links referenced in this presentation.
