In this moderated panel session, three credentialing experts will discuss key considerations for subject-matter expert (SME) recruitment, selection, and engagement, highlighting opportunities to identify diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) considerations across the assessment life cycle. In addition to recruitment recommendations, selection strategies, and engagement activities, the panelists will discuss onboarding ideas, rotation schedules, and communication plans. Suggestions for showing appreciation to SMEs will also be shared. The panel will share insights from their oversight of various SME groups, across numerous Nurse Practitioner and Compliance Professional credentialing programs. Join our expert panel as they discuss essential elements of SME engagement and opportunities for enhancing and elevating efforts to incorporate DEI considerations throughout the assessment life cycle.

  • Ashlee Griffin

    Ashlee Griffin is the Director of Membership, Certification & Accreditation for SCCE & HCCA, and CCB, non-profit organization focused on the education, support and certification of Compliance Professionals. With over a decade of experience focused in the area of Certification & Accreditation in her role she is responsible for strategic initiatives and operations ensuring integrity security and alignment within generally accepted psychometric and nationally accepted standards and principles within the field. She manages and leads a team providing oversight across all areas of department including association trends, customer service, membership/certification retention, internal certification exam development, delivery, committees (SMEs), and association governance.

  • Pamela Ing, PhD, ICE-CCP

    As Senior Director of Psychometric Services, Pamela leads a team of 30 psychometricians and test developers that partner with clients to develop and maintain certification exams in the healthcare, IT, and professional credentialing sectors, providing support across every step of the test development life cycle, from job analysis through accreditation support. Pamela is actively engaged in the credentialing industry through annual conference presentations and committee service and was awarded the 2023 NextGen Professional Award by I.C.E. and served as an ANAB Psychometric Assessor for the ISO 17024 standard for three years.

  • Kevin Letz, DNP, MBA, MSN, RN, CNE, CEN, FNP-C, ANP-BC, PCPNP-BC, FAANP

    Dr. Kevin Letz serves as Director of Certification for The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. He has served in executive leadership positions within hospital/health systems, academia, non-profits, start ups, and certification.

  • Francine Mitrakos, ICE-CCP

    Francine Mitrakos, ICE-CCP, is a Senior Test Developer at PSI Services with eight years of experience in the credentialing industry, in Canada and the United States. In her role, Francine partners with clients to develop valid, reliable, fair, and legally defensible examinations. Prior to joining PSI Services, Francine was Lead, Examination Development at FP Canada where she oversaw the management of 150+ subject-matter experts annually. In 2022, Francine completed the ICE Leadership Development Program, as a member of the inaugural cohort. She is currently completing her Master of Professional Education, with a focus on curriculum and pedagogy, at the University of Western Ontario.
