Introduction to Play Therapy - OKC

This three-hour introduction to Play Therapy will focus on theoretical orientations, methodologies, historical perspectives, and ethical issues. An experiential workshop, with demonstrations of techniques and practical application, will give participants a fun and exciting introduction to the therapeutic power of Play. This session is the first in the 2024 series, leading towards Registered Play Therapy credentialing.

• Examine historical applications of Play Therapy
• Identify the major theoretical orientations associated with Play Therapy
• Learn three (3) Play Therapy techniques
