In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and EMDR International Association. Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

National Board of Certified Counselors
EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5757. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Please be aware that all credit hours will be awarded according to the individual requirements of each continuing education agency. Partial credit of individual sessions is not available. If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.

CE INFORMATION for CALIFORNIA COUNSELORS
The California Board of Behavioral Sciences accepts CE programs that are approved by other approval agencies, including several that approve EMDRIA and its programs. A full list of approval agencies accepted by the BBS can be found at www.bbs.ca.gov/licensees/cont_ed.html under “Where to find CE Courses” and then “CE Approval Agencies”.

In order to obtain your CE’s after you’ve completed watching your session, you’ll need to follow these steps.

  • Complete the POST PROGRAM ASSESSMENT – located  just below the presentation itself
  • Complete the POST PROGRAM SURVEY – located just below the Post Program Assessment
If you are not automatically directed to the items noted above, you can find links to them on the CE Info tab of each session.

Once all steps are completed, the system will automatically generate a Certificate of Completion that you can download.


OVERALL CONFERENCE LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Participants will be able to describe EMDR therapy for PTSD and other diagnoses to improve practitioner competence and patient outcomes.
  2. Participants will be able to list strategies for integrative treatment using EMDR therapy in emerging mental health situations.
  3. Participants will be able to discuss current research and new applications of EMDR therapy in areas of mental health concerns.

National audience of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, advanced nurse practitioners, counselors and marriage and family therapists.

TEACHING METHODS

The teaching methods used by our Conference presenters include lecture, PowerPoint presentations, interactive discussions, case study presentations, and question and answer periods.
