Description

This course provides best practices for internal and external sustainable-focused communications to advance mission and commercial opportunities. Students will learn how effective communication can build reputational value and avoid greenwashing. Topics include sustainability in building a brand, strategies for effective communication, measuring impact, and regulatory oversight related to greenwashing.

    Valentine is a sustainability professional with a background in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University. Valentine spent 3 years at PepsiCo focusing on sustainable packaging and innovation within the Procurement team. Valentine now serves as Sustainability Coordinator at Pernod Ricard and leads initiatives in sustainability reporting, regenerative agriculture, climate reporting, sustainable packaging, glass recycling, and responsible drinking and hosting. This work ensures transparency and accountability in the Pernod’s environmental efforts while enhancing brand reputation and combating greenwashing. Passionate about environmental stewardship, Valentine is dedicated to advancing sustainability within the distilling industry.

  • Camilla Guiguer

    Camilla is a multilingual sustainability leader with 15 years' experience and a master's degree. She has worked in both the private and non-profit sectors, engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at an executive level in globally diverse teams. As the current Director of Sustainability & Responsibility (S&R) for Pernod Ricard North America, Camilla oversees the S&R strategy for the region including efforts around regenerative agricultural practices, sustainable bartending, circularity & recycling solutions, renewable energy sourcing, championing responsible drinking and more.
