Emily Pennington is Manager, Content & Education at Park
Street, a provider of productivity-enhancing and cost-saving back-office
solutions, advisory services, working capital, compliance management, export
solutions, integrated accounting, and human resources management solutions to
more than 16,000 alcoholic beverage brands from the U.S. and around the
world. The company’s clients range from entrepreneurs to multi-brand
global suppliers, and include craft distillers, centuries-old family businesses,
award-winning wineries, innovation brands, and more. Formerly, Ms. Pennington was the Managing Editor for industry trade
publication Wine & Spirits Daily, where she reported on breaking news,
industry trends and conducted in-depth interviews with executives in the
beverage alcohol space for eight years.
Colleen is an accomplished 18+yr. sales professional, holding 15+ industry
certifications and, has in-depth knowledge of all segments of the 3-tier system
in Beer, Wine, and Spirits. Driven by advocating equity, she takes pride in
joining with other proponents to make real change in the industry. As a State
Sales Manager (CA/AZ/NM) at WhistlePig Whiskey, her role is comprised of
inspiring and developing an incredibly talented team, strategic planning, and data
management analytics to facilitate consistent delivery of sustainable sales and
revenue growth. She is compelled in her quest through lifelong
learning and leading with EQ. She is married
to her best friend, Richard, the proud mother of 2 (Demetrius, and Taylor), and
her 2 English Bulldogs (Murray and Ruth (RBG)).

Nick Demjen has been in the alcohol beverage industry in
Massachusetts for 20 years. Currently he is the General Manager of Emerging
Spirit Brands at Horizon Beverage where he in charge of onboarding new
suppliers to Horizon and also manages a handful of existing suppliers and their
brands. Prior to this role Nick was the Director of Origin Beverage, a sales and
marketing subsidiary of Horizon Beverage and managed the brands within Origin
Beverage while overseeing a sales team that covers the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts. Before being promoted to
Director of Origin Beverage, Nick was the Sales Manager for Origin and prior to
that, he was the first sales rep hired for Origin back in 2011 and spent 5
years calling on accounts in the Greater Boston area, helping grow craft spirit
and beer brands in his territory. Nick got his start in the retail side of the
business working for 10 years at Bauer Wine and Spirits on Newbury Street in
Boston’s historic Back Bay.
During his free time, you can find Nick with his wife toting
around their two young sons on weekends to various sports and activities or
working on perfecting his pizza recipe.
