This presentation will cover
the types of wire fraud currently seen in real estate transactions, along with
ways to recognize and combat these schemes. It will include a look at a lawyer’s
professional responsibility to inform clients about potential fraudulent attempts,
with a review of the North Carolina State Bar 2020 Formal Ethics Opinion 5. Suggestions
