Description:
We are excited to announce this new Gottman Consultation group for individuals who have completed a Gottman Level 1 Training. This group is designed for individuals who are looking for additional support and direction with case conceptualization and interventions for working with enrichment and/or distressed couples. Developing a new specialty area in couples therapy can be daunting. If you do not work in a setting with available supervision or consultation for couples, the work can feel defeating and isolating. Consider joining our consultation group this summer as you expand your tool kit for relationship work.
Expectations:
- Eligible consultees must have completed a Gottman Level 1 training.
- Consultees do not need to have active cases with couples to participate, but having cases is strongly recommended.
- Consultees will be able to share de-identified case questions and general implementation questions. Sharing audio/video recordings is encouraged in this group, but is not required.
- Attendance is not mandatory, but is encouraged to get the full benefit of your consultation time.
Consultant: Jonathan Impellizzeri, PhD, LMFT, LPC, ACS is a Gottman trainer and Certified Gottman Therapist. He is also trained in Emotion Focused Couples Therapy and is an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor.
*This consultation does not meet requirements for future consultation to become a Certified Gottman Therapist.
