Description

FLUTD Potpourri Part 2: More Real World Cases from the Trenches
Feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD) is a common and recurrent condition that is complicated by its multifactorial nature. Cats with recurrent FLUTD contribute unique burdens to caregiver budgets, including financial, emotional, physical, and temporal considerations. These burdens can be further compounded in cases where other comorbidities are identified and treatment decisions may be negatively impacted in these situations. In this second session on FLUTD, we will explore the complications of recurrent FLUTD, common comorbidities and the relevance to caregiver budgets.

WEBINAR OBJECTIVES
After attending this webinar, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the various causes of FLUTD and how this impacts management of recurrent disease.
  • Recognize existing caregiver burdens and how these contribute to individualized management strategies for FLUTD patients.
  • Identify nutritional approaches to FLUTD management and prevention.
  • Develop management strategies for FLUTD cats with comorbidities.
