The Cat Friendly Veterinary Environment: Setting Up for Success
Cats are territorial by nature, preferring to remain within their defined safe space if possible. A trip to the veterinary hospital not only removes them from that territory, but exposes them to numerous threats. This seminar will examine the cat’s feelings during this experience and explore the many small but pivotal changes we can make that will improve the overall visit for the cat, caregiver and veterinary team.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this session, the participant will:
  • Understand the veterinary experience from the cat’s viewpoint.
  • Learn how we can adapt the veterinary environment to improve the cat’s experience.
  • Explore creative ways to adapt the veterinary environment without breaking the bank.
