Description

PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE 10 AM ET THE DAY OF THE WEBINAR. DUE TO HIGH VOLUME OF DEMAND, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO GUARANTEE A SEAT TO THOSE WHO REGISTER 48 HOURS AHEAD OF THE WEBINAR TIME.

Rating Agencies (AM Best, S&P, etc.) and Investment Analysts (Wells Fargo, Dowling, etc.) are important stakeholders for many insurers. Each has a vested interest in ensuring the financial health of the companies they rate/follow, but often have different viewpoints for what constitutes a successful/highly rated operation. This webinar will provide an introduction to and color regarding each stakeholder's approach to assessing and assigning value to the financial condition of insurance companies in today's marketplace, and provide participants an opportunity to ask questions of these 3rd parties that actuaries don't often interact directly with.
Learning Objective:
1. Garner a better understanding of the similarities and differences between the views of equity analysts and policyholder credit analysts regarding the insurance industry.
