Prior to joining CAP, Yvette held the role of Director, Care Experience & People Engagement at Kaiser Woodland Hills, where she led and developed organizational strategy for engaging staff at all levels in achieving outstanding care experience outcomes. She also previously worked as Director, Customer Experience at Adventist Health Glendale and Manager, Office of Patient Experience at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology from UCLA and her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.

  • Monica Ludwick, Pharm.D.

    Monica Ludwick, Pharm.D. is one of CAP's Senior Risk Management and Patient Safety Specialists. Before joining CAP, she was Manager, Risk Management/Patient Safety/Quality for Adventist Health Glendale (formerly known as Glendale Adventist Medical Center). In addition to her substantial experience in pharmacology and risk management, Monica is actively involved in several professional organizations and has earned outstanding employee recognition multiple times during her career. She earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California San Francisco, School of Pharmacy.

  • Rikki Valade

    Rikki Valade is a Senior Risk Management & Patient Safety Specialist with the Cooperative of American Physicians. Rikki joined CAP in 2020 and is part of the CAP Cares team. The CAP Cares team specializes in assisting healthcare providers respond to and manage complex practice issues including adverse events, difficult patient scenarios, regulatory inquiries, and subpoenas. Previously she was a Corporate Risk Manager for the MemorialCare Health System in Long Beach in the adult and pediatric setting where she oversaw its comprehensive risk reduction and prevention programs. Prior to that she was part of the Risk Team at Glendale Adventist Medical Center and USC Arcadia. Rikki has over 28 years of health care experience including 10 years of Case Management and 13 years in Risk Management. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is a certified Public Health Nurse.
