Research continues to find that physicians across all ages, genders, and specialties report feeling burned out at work. Furthermore, job-related burnout is not unique to physicians and can afflict any individual in the practice, including practice managers and office administrators. In this free CME* webinar presented by CAP, burnout expert Dr. Clark Gaither will identify the scope, costs, hallmarks, intervention strategies, and viable remedies to detect and mitigate job-related burnout. Attendees will leave having learned strategies they can implement to increase their engagement and enhance their well-being in the workplace. The webinar will be followed by audience Q&A.

    Dr. Clark Gaither, a family physician, is currently the Medical Director of the North Carolina Professionals Health Program and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is an accomplished author, blogger, speaker, corporate consultant, and personal life coach. Also known as Dr. Burnout, he is an expert in the identification, mitigation, and prevention of physician job-related burnout. He is the author of REIGNITE, a best-selling book about professional job-related burnout.

    A recipient of many rewards, Dr. Gaither was named Family Physician of the Year in 2002 by the NC Academy of Family Physicians and more recently was honored by the governor and the state of NC with The Order of the Long Leaf Pine for meritorious service to the state and citizens of Wayne County.
