Jasmine E. Guy is a beacon of light, dedicated to illuminating the
path towards positive change in communities through her
unwavering commitment to advocacy and leadership. Her passion
for creating safe environments, promoting equality, advocating for
social justice, ensuring employment, housing security, and
enhancing educational access and opportunity has positioned her
as a transformative force in the civic landscape.
In her role as the Principal of Guydelines Consulting Group LLC,
Jasmine's mission is clear: to empower and inspire diverse and
talented teams to thrive in advancing the common good of
organizations. Also, Jasmine’s passion for enlightening others is
demonstrated in the classroom as an Adjunct Instructor at National
Louis University. Formerly, Jasmine was Vice President of
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at CCS Fundraising; Director of
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Major, Lindsey, & Africa,
Diversity and Inclusion Specialist at Foley & Lardner, and held
many human resources positions at the University of Chicago.
Recognized as a passionate and collaborative results-driven
strategist, she leverages over 20 years of experience in human
resources, diversity, equity, and inclusion, along with a deep
understanding of culture and talent management. Through
innovative and impactful initiatives, she aligns organizational
vision, goals, and values to foster inclusive workplace climates
where individuals of all identities and abilities can thrive and
engage.
Jasmine's impact extends beyond the corporate realm, as she is a
high-profile civic leader and sought-after speaker on DEI, social
justice, access, and opportunity. Her recent accolades include
being recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Illinois
(2022), Business Elite’s 40 Under 40 (2022), and one of Chicago’s
most influential and inclusive leaders, selected as one of only fifty
Chicago United – 2021 Business Leaders of Color. Additional
honors include the Chicago Defender’s Women of Excellence
award (2021), Chicago Scholars’ 35 Under 35 Making a Difference
in Chicago award (2018), and the Sister Margaret Traxler
Humanitarian award from Margaret’s Village (2017) for her
exceptional civic engagement.
Jasmine is actively involved in various civic organizations and
boards, including her role as Chairman of the South Side YMCA
Board of Directors, President of the National Association of African
Americans in Human Resources (Chicago Chapter), and
contributions to the boards of Margaret's Village, Jackson Park
Advisory Council, and the Women's Board of the Chicago Urban
League (where she served as Past President).
An alumna of Spelman College and the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign, Jasmine Guy continues to be a driving force
for positive change, bringing hope, compassion, strategic direction,
and vision to every endeavor she undertakes.
