This technical report describes the strategy, techniques, and tools needed for creating, implementing, and managing electronic file plans in organizations. It includes a sample project plan written from a project management perspective and a hypothetical, industry-neutral case study that illustrates how an electronic file structure can be developed and implemented according to the procedures described in the technical report.
