Records and information management (RIM) audits are useful for assessing an organization’s risk exposure and providing opportunities for quality and performance improvement. This technical report expands RIM professionals’ knowledge and provides implementation-based advice related to the RIM audit. It aims to encourage innovation, spur improvement, strengthen information governance efforts, and bolster compliance for all organizations.
