  • Connie Collins Johnson PT, DScPT

    Dr Johnson is a school based physical therapist and LEND faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is ABPTS Board Certified, LEND trainee and received her MSPT from Springfield College And DScPT from University of Maryland. She’s an advocate for health, fitness, and eliminating disparities to achieve employment for youth with disabilities. She has published in peer reviewed journals on fitness of youth with disabilities, case studies on work capacity evaluation and Use of the Guide to Physical Therapist Practice. She is an active member of the Academy of Pediatric Physical therapy where she is co chair of the Practice Development Committee and a member of the school and AADA SIGs. She is the creator of Fit4Work.

  • Michele Wiley, PT, DPT, DHSc

    Michele Wiley PT DPTDHScis an assistant professor at Shenandoah University. She received aBachelor’s of Sciencein Physical Therapy from Temple University, a post-professional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University and a Doctor of Health Science in Rehabilitation Science candidate at Drexel University. She also works a school based physical therapist. She has been an ABPTS Pediatric Certified Specialist since 1996 and has experience in a broad variety of in-and outpatient settings. She is currently the chair of APTA Pediatrics Telehealth Committee and presented at the APTA Pediatrics Annual Conference and the international virtual eHealth Summit.
