    Nick Ruffin, CAE, has served as the President & CEO of AMR Management Services since 2018. In this role Nick is responsible for providing leadership and direction to sustain AMR’s growth and achieve long-term strategic goals for the company. He provides oversight to AMR’s executive team and actively participates with client Boards in strategic planning and other key issues. An AMR employee since 2004, Nick holds a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and earned his Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 2011. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and currently serves as the Chair of the AMC Institute (AMCI), the trade association for association management companies.

  • Sarah Timm, CAE, CMP-HC, President & CEO, Parthenon Management Group

    Certified as an Association Executive (CAE) by the American Society of Association Executives and a Certified Meeting Professional-Healthcare (CMP-HC) by Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Sarah began her career at the Nashville Convention Center where she managed more than 250 corporate, association, tradeshows and public events. She moved to Traveltime Meetings as their Director of Meetings. In that position, she planned and implemented meetings for a variety of major national corporations and associations. She joined the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology in 2005 and worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Parthenon Management Group until 2016 when she was promoted to the Chief Executive Officer of Parthenon Management Group and Executive Director for the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology. Parthenon Management Group manages 24 national and international scientific research organizations and oversees meeting management for 14 additional clients. PMG has 98 staff and continues to grow.

  • Megan Woodburn, CAE, Founder & Co-CEO, Strategic Association Management

    Megan Woodburn, CAE is the Founder and CEO at Strategic Association Management (SAM). She is a seasoned association professional who has worked with national, statewide and local associations during her seventeen-year career with non-profits. In 2000 Megan began organizing grassroots fundraising campaigns for various non-profit organizations throughout the country. After a few years, she directed the administrative functions of over 64 offices and worked on a national campaign team. Since 2005, Megan has managed statewide leadership boards, while overseeing many local association affiliates. In 2010, Megan earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential, awarded by the American Society of Association Executives. In 2011, Megan was awarded with the Young Professional Leadership Award given by the Texas Society of Association Executives and founded the association management company, Strategic Association Management. Megan currently serves as a Director with the Texas Lyceum and as a board member with the Texas Society of Association Executives.
