Crackles Can Change A Life

What's more to know? Interstitial lung disease(ILD) and pulmonary fibrosis(PF) are a confusing alphabet soup of diagnoses with no known treatments that lead to early death. Right? Over the last decade our better understanding and improved identification of secondary causes, along with immunosuppressive and anti-fibrotic therapies, are changing the course of these diseases and improving the outcomes of patients living with ILD and PF - with more to come on the horizon. We'll explore how to identify these diseases early, what to do about them, and why there's hope for patients living with ILD/PF.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand how all physicians can play a role in identifying ILD/PF - and what to do about it.
  2. Identifying when we're in trouble in a patient with ILD/PF - it's earlier than you'd think.
  3. How to help manage symptoms of patients with ILD/PF.
