Individualized Learning Plan for Residents

This session provides an interactive discussion and demonstration of how to create and implement an individualized learning plan for each resident. We will review the ACGME updated requirements that will require an at least annual individualized learning plan for each resident. We review methods we have implemented and ways to create a framework for your program to engage residents and faculty.

Learning Objectives

  1. Upon completion, participants will understand the new ACGME FM program requirement for at least annual individualized learning plans for each resident.
  2. Upon completion, participants will be able to have a framework to implement a plan for individualized learning plans for residents.
  3. Upon completion, participants will identify methods for documenting and monitoring an individualized learning plan for each resident.
