This lecture will discuss boundaries and ethical considerations when navigating and networking with social media as a primary care physician. Social media can be a tool to help enhance professional and patient education, network, communicate and collaborate. However, this tool can present risks for misinformation, professional image effects and patient privacy concerns. This lecture will discuss various social media sites and how to utilize them safely and effectively for both individual and medical advancement.
