This lecture provides an overview of key topics in immigrant and refugee health, with a focus on children and families. The discussion will include information on what medical screening refugees receive as a part of their resettlement, resources for caring for the unique health needs of this population and case reviews. There will be specific information reviewed regarding the Afghan evacuee population, given their growing numbers and unique health needs.
