2023 Annual Conference - Find the joyful leader within: Uplifting others in early childhood

Joyful leaders uplift, guide and inspire others. This includes early childhood teachers that joyfully engage children in their classroom and early childhood coaches, trainers, and directors that guide and inspire teachers to enhance their teaching practices. Each person can find the joyful leader within themselves. As you uplift and guide others, you will develop stronger and more meaningful relationships with the individuals you lead and enhance your personal fortitude. Leaders face many demands on their time and energy. Becoming a more effective and joyful leader is not about doing more, but rather about doing the things that will have the greatest impact. This session will explore why joy is an essential aspect of leadership. Presenters will share four ways to create caring connections, five tips to add joy to your environment, six ideas for uplifting others and seven strategies to lighten your load.
