Association professionals in
communications and marketing are often pulled in many directions and asked to
do more with less—including being an ad hoc Canva designer. According to
research, 94% of first impressions are driven by design, so knowing design best
practices can help increase engagement in your association’s digital and social
media outreach. This session will dive into the principles of design (layout,
color, typography and imagery) and how to successfully use them in Canva.
Attendees will also discover where to find high-quality graphics and design
assets to amplify and enhance their Canva projects. Design-related resources
and templates will be supplied. Basic knowledge of Canva is helpful but not
required.
